Welcome to Veneto
Veneto region, located in the north-east of Italy, named after its famous city Venice, a popular destination known for its unique water way architecture and rich cultural heritage.
Besides Venice, the region has plenty to offer, from the walled cities of Cittadella (Nicolò’s hometown) and Treviso, to Lago di Garda, the pre Alpine landscape and the Dolomites, the ancient thermal baths in Abano Terme, to the famous arena di Verona.
In this part of Italy, besides Italian, most inhabitants also speak Venetian.
